Brand new school opened by Bishop Brian.

St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School in Ellesmere Port is celebrating the opening of a brand new school. Bishop Brian celebrated the opening with a Special Mass on 15th April. Pupils, staff and parishioners, past and present, came together to join in the celebrations.

The £3.6 million school is a fantastic 21st century learning environment, with high tech ICT facilities; a parish and community centre; and many sustainability features, such as rainwater recycling and energy saving features.

Mr. Rob Hughes, Headteacher, said “We are delighted that this fantastic new school will be a beacon for Catholic education for many years in Ellesmere Port.”
