I’ve been keen to ensure that we push the boat out this year with our Christmas decorations and Cribs especially at Our Lady Star of the Sea, given that Our Lady’s is hosting the whole of Ellesmere Port and Hooton for the Christmas Masses this year.
 

It occurred to me that the Christmas Nativity scene incorporates our three parish Churches and their dedications: there is the baby Jesus (St Saviour) His Mother, Mary (Our Lady, St Mary) there is a Star that that Wise Men follow (Star of the Sea) and Angels who appear to the
Shepherds (St Mary of the Angels). Around the Cribs as they are displayed across the three Churches of the parish, let’s ask the Holy Family to bring us closer as one parish family.
